Wine Review: This big oaky California Chardonnay is a beautiful golden yellow color, with a vibrant bouquet of buttered Bosc pear, vanilla, and leather with hints of caramel and lemon grass. It's lush and balanced on the palate with a creamy mouthfeel, full body, and crisp medium plus acidity. Generous flavors of Bosc pear, oak, marzipan, spicy ginger, and honey with light tangerine and grassy notes. The palate cleansing acidity lingers for quite a while in the finish. Serve with a broiled lazy-man’s lobster with buttered breadcrumbs. - Mark
