Wine Review: This Chardonnay is consistently Very Good every year. It is golden yellow colored and opens with a mild vanilla oak bouquet with a hint of pear. On the palate, this wine is medium, bodied, balanced and easy going. The flavor profile is a gentle oak and green apple blend with hints of white pepper and Bosc pear. The finish is dry and it drifts away nicely. This wine paired well with my crab cakes off the grill on Lake George. Enjoy – Ken
Winemaker Notes: The wine exhibits a golden honey hue with pure Granny Smith apple aromas along with distinctive notes of lime blossom and nutmeg. The mouth feel is rich and round and unfolds to reveal shortbread and pineapple flavors that linger. This well-structured wine will pair well with seafood entrees, roasted poultry dishes and even spicy Asian cuisine.
