Wine Review: This almost clear colored Riesling opens with a fragrant and inviting Granny Smith apple and Anjou pear bouquet. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, slightly acidic and mouthwatering. The flavor profile is a tasty mineral infused green apple with notes tangerine. The finish is semi-dry and drifts away nicely. This Riesling from the Finger Lakes is very quaffable. It will not last long. Serve with pan seared scallops. Enjoy – Ken
Winemaker Notes: This zesty Riesling opens with grapefruit, ginger and iced green tea. A plush mouthfeel follows on the mid-palate with notes of mineral and lemongrass zest on a crisp finish. This tangy, refreshing wine is great match for salad dressed with a vinaigrette, or shrimp prepared with fresh citrus.
