Wine Review: This white gold colored Gruner Veltliner opens with a green apple and wet stone like bouquet with a hint of mandarin orange. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, slightly acidic and crisp. The flavor profile is a mineral infused green apple with hints of lime and a touch of orange. The finish is pleasantly dry and nicely refreshing. I would suggest pairing this fine Gruner from upstate New York with broiled scallops. Enjoy - Ken

Winemaker Notes: This is Lamoreaux Landing's first commercial release with the Gruner Veltliner grape and leads with an inviting citrus aroma. The palate focuses on complex mineral and herbal notes with a long crisp finish. Enjoy with with poultry, pork, veal or meatier fishes. Gruner veltliner is one of the few wines that will pair with asparagus and artichoke.
