Wine Review: This very pale yellow colored Riesling opens with mild a pear and iced tea bouquet. On the palate, this light bodied, slightly acidic and tart. The flavor profile is quinine with a touch of Squirt soda, apricot, and minerality. The finish is semi-dry and lingers. I would pair this Riesling broiled sweet bay scallops in a lemon butter sauce or chicken cordon bleu. Enjoy – Ken
Winemaker Notes: Produced using the first crush from one of our newest vineyards, this Riesling starts with aromas of smoke and shale with just a hint of gooseberries. A splash of apricots in the mid-palate gives way to a smooth yet complex finish. This versatile wine pairs well with grilled fish and chicken, and young cheeses especially gouda.
