Wine Review: This pale yellow colored dry–styled Riesling opens with a fragrant pineapple and gentle honey like bouquet. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, slightly acidic and mouthwatering. The flavor profile is a tasty mild pineapple with hints of cantaloupe and lemon. The finish is mostly dry and its ripe flavors linger for a while after the wine is gone. This wine would pair well with baked ham. Enjoy - Ken
Winemaker Notes: This single vineyard production is made with only select clusters of fruit from our 40 year old Black Diamond Vineyard. Hand harvested at the peak of ripeness and whole cluster pressed, our Reserve Riesling is our finest riesling offering to date. The palate is treated to subtle nuances of mineral and slate in perfect balance with delicate citrus, orange blossom and nectarine flavors. Enjoy with a special dinner - perhaps roasted pork, Thai cuisine, baked ham or poached salmon.
