Wine Review: This midnight purple colored Cabernet Sauvignon from Lail opens with a blueberry and black currant bouquet with a hint of green olive. On the palate, this wine is medium to full bodied, balanced, smooth and juicy. The flavor profile is a black raspberry and blackberry blend with notes of black pepper and black plum along with hints of mild minerality. The finish is dry and its tannins show very nice length. This Cab would pair well with braised short ribs. Enjoy - Ken
Winemaker Notes: Blueprint Cabernet Sauvignon 2016 is deep ruby with purple edges in color, with exotic aromas of black cherry, plum, cassis and dark chocolate. Echoing the aromas, spicy flavors of blackberry, mint and boysenberry add further intrigue and complexity. It is creamy, rich, lush and simply delicious.
