Wine Review: This yellow colored Chardonnay opens with a lemon butter like bouquet with a hint of pineapple and oak. On the palate, this wine is full bodied, slightly acidic and crisp. The flavor profile is a ripe lemon with notes of minerality and pineapple. I also detected a hint of faint oak in the background. This finish is dry and its flavors and acidity linger nicely for quite some time. This wine is built for fans of fruit forward styled Chard. I would pair it with chicken and wild mushroom ravioli in a light cream sauce. Enjoy - Ken

Winemaker Notes: In 2011 we were able to use more of our new planting from the upper mesa where we have five different clones of Chardonnay. A small but intense crop produced a classic example of Santa Rita Hills Chardonnay. Wines that are aromatic and complex and are simply a pleasure to drink.
