Wine Review: This dark red Syrah based wine from Domaine Lafage, opens with an earthy pomegranate bouquet with a hint of cola and red raspberry. On the palate, this wine is full bodied, slightly acidic and nicely coats the mouth. The flavor profile is a mild cherry and cedar blend with hints of faint vanilla and black pepper. The finish is dry and its flavors drift away nicely. The Panel found this wine to be food friendly and would pair it with a juicy burger. Enjoy - KWGTP
