Wine Review: This pale straw colored Albarino from Rias Baixas opens with a lemon and crushed sea-shell bouquet with hints of bosc pear. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied with integrated medium plus acidity. The mouthfeel is balanced, round and zesty. The flavor profile is a saline and lime blend with notes of green apple and chalky minerality. I also detected some hints of almond. The finish is dry and refreshing. I would pair this Alberino with a pan-fried rainbow trout with a garlic lemon butter herb sauce. Enjoy - Ken
Winemaker Notes: The wine has an intense and clean straw-yellow color with bright green tones. On the nose it shows aromas of fresh herbs and laurel with fine floral and lemon notes, as well as White stone fruits. In the mouth it is fresh and rich, with citrus notes and a long finish. Perfect with all kinds of seafood and fish, as well as fresh cheese, foie-gras, chicken, rice dishes and pasta.
