Wine Review: This slightly opaque and dark ruby colored Malbec opens with mild plum bouquet with a hint of old oak in the background. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, balanced, and very easy to drink. The flavor profile is a mild black plum with notes of gentle minerality and old oak. There is also just a touch of blackberry and black licorice. The finish is dry and its mild tannins are nicely prolonged after the wine is gone. This Malbec would pair well with a thick and juicy bacon burger. Enjoy - Ken
Winemaker Notes: Vibrant red color with aromas of red cherries, raspberries, and violets wafting from the glass along with notes of toasty oak. On the palate, the fresh berry flavors mingle with spice notes and there's a hint of soft caramel on the finish. This is a creamy, medium-bodied and well-structured wine that is incredibly full of life. Goes great with everything from hamburgers and chicken to pasta and mild cheeses.
