Wine Review: This pale straw-colored Sauvignon Blanc opens with a yellow grapefruit bouquet with a hint of gooseberry and sea spray. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied with medium plus acidity. The mouthfeel is bright, fresh, and mouthwatering. The flavor profile is a yellow grapefruit and nectarine pit blend with notes of lime, white pepper, and saline. The finish is dry, and its acidity and flavors are nicely extended. This Sauvignon Blanc would pair well with swordfish skewers. Enjoy – Ken
Winemaker Notes: Nose: Nectarine, Lime, Melon, and subtle hints of wet stone and flint.
Palate: Grapefruit and white peach are accompanied by tropical notes of mango and guava. Barrel fermentation brings volume and texture to the wine while crisp and vibrant acidity drives a juicy lingering finish.
