Wine Review: This light yellow colored Chardonnay from La Crema opens with a fragrant mild apple and gentle oak bouquet with a hint of pilsner beer. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, balanced, and savory. The flavor profile is a pleasant mild Meyer lemon with notes of nicely integrated oak and ripe red apple. I also detected a hint of minerality. The finish is dry and its flavors drift away nicely. This Chard would be a very nice match for chicken francese. Enjoy - Ken
Winemaker Notes: This vintage opens with bright aromas of lemon drop, supported by ripe pear, toffee and hints of jasmine. The palate adds flavors of stone fruit and yellow plum, with lively citrus notes. Sweet vanilla and lingering baking spice add richness and texture to the long, fresh finish.
