Wine Review: This pale yellow colored Chardonnay opens with a fragrant pear and lemon like bouquet. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, round, slightly acidic and mouthwatering. The flavor profile a mild Anjou pear and green apple blend with notes of oak and a hint of lemon and white pepper. The finish is dry and its flavors drift away nicely. This Chard would pair well with chicken and wild mushroom ravioli smothered in a light cream sauce. Enjoy - Ken
Winemaker Notes: This vintage opens with bright aromas of Meyer lemon and yellow apple, punctuated by hints of butterscotch and subtle floral notes. The palate adds flavors of juicy yellow plum, lemon curd and vanilla custard. Rich tropical tones and a lingering spice add richness and texture to the long, fresh finish.
