Wine Review: This ruby colored Merlot from L'Ecole performed well for the Tasting Panel. It opens with a mild cherry pipe tobacco and cedar bouquet with a hint of red raspberry. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, balanced, round and pretty friendly. The flavor profile is a gentle cherry and mild black raspberry blend with notes of oak and minerality. The finish is dry and its moderate tannins build-up nicely. The Panel suggested pairing the Merlot with Swedish meatballs or a pot roast. Enjoy - KWGTP
Winemaker Notes: This wine delivers with great structure, color, and balanced acidity. It is layered with enticing aromas of black cherry, rose petal, and plum. This full bodied yet balanced Merlot shows layers of baking spices and cocoa with a seamless finish of fine-grained tannin.
