Wine Review: This straw-colored Semillon from Washington state opens with a chamomile tea and lemon zest bouquet with hints of bee's wax and green apple. On the palate, this wine is medium plus bodied with integrated medium plus acidity. The mouthfeel is balanced, creamy, and nicely coats your mouth. The flavor profile is a chamomile tea and lime blend with notes of ginger and Bosc pear. I also detected hints of saline, guava, and white pepper. The flavors and acidity linger nicely on the finish. I would pair this very good Semillon with pan-seared Chilean sea bass. Enjoy - Ken

Winemaker Notes: This brilliant single-vineyard Semillon expresses prominent aromatic layers of fresh fig, apricot, Asian pear, and lychee accented by a nuanced ginger spice overtone. In the mouth, it reaffirms its complexity with a broad flavorful array of melon, lemongrass, and chamomile carrying through to a balanced, succulent, and lingering finish.
