Wine Review: This dark ruby colored Cabernet Sauvignon from L'Ecole opens with a black currant and graphite bouquet with hints of black cherry and pie crust. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied with medium plus acidity. The mouthfeel is balanced, round, and easy to drink. The flavor profile is a black currant and chalky minerality blend with notes of gentle black cherry. We also detected hints of blueberry, oak, and black pepper. The finish is dry, and its flavors and dusty fine tannins build-up and last for quite a while. This Cab would pair perfectly with grilled hanger steak or gourmet burger. Enjoy - KWGTP
Winemaker Notes: Beautifully structured, this stylish Cabernet Sauvignon immediately impresses with its aromatic purity, displaying brooding black currant, espresso, thyme, and graphite with hints of rose, dark chocolate, and a savory earthiness. In the mouth, fresh flavors of black plum, blackberry, and lavender give way to polished tannins and a robust finish.
