Wine Review: This pale white gold colored Semillon from Washington state opens with a pleasant white floral and Anjou pear bouquet with hints of pineapple and lime zest. On the palate, this wine is medium plus bodied with medium plus acidity. The mouthfeel is balanced, round and fresh. The flavor profile is a green apple and ginger blend with notes of chalky minerality and honeydew melon. The finish shows nice length for a white wine. I would pair this food friendly and easy to drink Semillon with a pan seared Chilian sea bass. Enjoy – Ken
Winemaker Notes: Refreshing and richly textured, this expressive Semillon shows vibrant kiwi, crisp green apple, melon, and fragrant honeysuckle set against a spicy, lemon zest character. On the palate, it is supple and energetic, replete with flavors of fresh fig and stone fruit, persisting to a balanced, succulent finish.
