Wine Review: This very dark ruby colored red blend from Washington state is very good. It opens with a black raspberry bouquet with hints of blueberry, wet stone, and cola. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied with nicely integrated acidity. The mouthfeel is round with juicy fruit. The flavor profile is a mild crushed stone and stewed black plum blend with notes of oak and black raspberry. There are hints of black licorice and a dash of black pepper towards the end. The finish is dry and its moderate tannins build-up and last for a very long time. This wine is crowd pleaser and will not last long. I would pair it with a juicy bistro burger or steak tips. Enjoy – Ken
Winemaker Notes: An excellent Frenchtown vintage showing bright fruit aromatics, from wild berries and black cherry to dark plum framed on a medium-bodied structure. An easy-drinking wine, its fruit-forward profile is accented by violets and savory thyme. Vivid flavors carry through to a delicious finish.
