Wine Review: This pale straw-colored Chenin Blanc from Washington state opens with a very fragrant pineapple and banana bouquet with hints of white peach and kiwi. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied with bright acidity. It is mouthwatering and round. The flavor profile is tasty lime and quince blend with notes of yellow grapefruit, minerality, stone fruit and marzipan. The finish is it’s a tad off-dry and a little brief. The Panel would pair this Chenin Blanc with baked haddock, Wellfleet oysters or coconut shrimp. Enjoy – KWGTP
Winemaker Notes: This complex Chenin Blanc shows expressive citrus and stone fruit aromatics, with blood orange, Meyer lemon and white peach notes, offset by crisp pear and quince aromas. In the mouth, tropical flavors of gooseberry, kiwi, guava, and starfruit permeate through a vibrant finish.
