Wine Review: This straw-colored Chardonnay from Washington state opens with a fragrant oak influenced bouquet. There are also hints of butter crème and pear. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied with mild acidity. It is also round and nicely coats your mouth. The flavor profile is an oak influenced Anjou pear with notes of white tea and brioche. I also detected hints of pineapple in the after taste. The finish is dry, and its flavors linger and last for a while. This oaky styled Chard would pair well with crab and artichoke toasts. Enjoy - Ken
Winemaker Notes: This expressive Chardonnay offers pronounced aromas of dried mango, grilled peach, and honeysuckle. Slightly creamy in the mouth, it shows beautiful weight and freshness, explosive flavors of ripe pear and apple, accented with nutmeg spice notes, carrying through a persistent finish.
