Wine Review: This deep purple colored red blend opens with a mild black cherry and black currant bouquet with hints a baking spice and rose. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied with medium plus acidity. The mouthfeel is clean, bright, and nicely balanced. The flavor profile is crushed stone and black cherry blend with notes of black tea and black plum. The finish is dry and its dusty tannins build-up and stick around for quite a while. The Tasting Panel would decant this red blend and then pair it with grilled black coffee marinated skirt steak or with a bistro steak. Enjoy – KWGTP
Winemaker Notes: Perigee epitomizes this Estate vineyard’s distinctive cedar and dark fruit, framed by a structured elegance. It explodes with aromas of spiced blackberry and boysenberry, tobacco and licorice, lifted by floral notes of violets and Provençal herbs. Velvety on the palate, it concludes with a complex and silky finish.
