Wine Review: This dark ruby colored red currant and red plum bouquet. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, balanced and easy to drink. The flavor profile is a gentle black cherry and mild mineral blend with notes of red plum. I also detected hints of strawberry and cedar. The finish is dry and its mild tannins fade away nicely. This Merlot is a nice weekday offering that would pair well with many dishes. I would pair it with Spanish rice or a sloppy Joe sandwich. Enjoy – Ken
Winemaker Notes: Exhibiting complex layers of raspberry, plum, and black cherry, accented by crushed roses, pencil shavings, and smoky cedar nuances, this full-bodied, vigorous Merlot bursts with flavors of macerated berries, coffee, and kirsch. Charming and ripe, it firms up to finish with a satisfying longevity.
