Wine Review: This pale straw-colored Chenin Blanc from Washington state opens with a floral gardenia bouquet with hints of pineapple and green tea. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied and balanced. The flavor profile is a mineral influenced gooseberry with notes of green apple and saline. The finish is dry and its acidity and flavors linger nicely. The Panel suggested pairing this good value Chenin Blanc with broiled scallops, oysters Rockefeller and asparagus risotto. Enjoy – KWGTP
