Wine Review: This deep purple colored Syrah from Washington State opens with a mild black cherry and juniper berry bouquet with hints of green pepper and cola. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, balanced and smooth. The flavor profile is a tasty gentle red cherry and mild mineral blend with notes of cola and oak. The finish is dry and its moderate chewy tannins build-up and stick around for a very long time. The Panel would pair this Syrah with turkey drum sticks or Stuart’s chili. Enjoy – KWGTP
Winemaker Notes: This beautifully balanced Estate Syrah marries savory aromas of olive tapenade and black pepper with floral notes of violet. The expansive palate shows intense flavors of blackberry, coffee, bitter chocolate, and a touch of spice paired with a fine tannin structure that gives way to a concentrated, rich finish.
