Wine Review: This dark red colored Merlot from L'Ecole opens with a black cherry and oak bouquet with hints of red plum and tire rubber. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, balanced and savory. The flavor profile is black cherry with notes of oak. We also detected hints of earthy graphite, black pepper and black raspberry. The finish is dry and its moderate tannins stick around for a while. The Panel suggested pairing this Merlot with meatloaf or a lamb burger. Enjoy – KWGTP
Winemaker Notes: This elegant Merlot reveals aromas of dark fruit, tobacco leaf, cedar and clove. It's rich texture is elevated by dense favors of black cherry and espresso on a complex earth finish.
