Wine Review: This slightly cloudy and dark ruby colored Grenache based blend from the Adelaida District in California open with a boysenberry and black cherry bouquet with hints of cinnamon, vanilla, and oak. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied with medium plus acidity. The mouthfeel is balanced, round, and savory. The flavor profile is a kirsch and blackberry with notes of earth and cedar. I also detected hints of oolong tea, vanilla, and black plum. The finish is dry, and its refined tannins are nicely sustained. This wine would pair well with beef bourguignon. Enjoy - KWGTP
Winemaker Notes: French for, "a dance for two, a close relationship between two people or things" Because this is a blend of Grenache and Syrah, and they "dance" beautifully together, it seemed a fitting name.
