Wine Review: This pale straw colored Sauvignon Blanc from Chile opens with a fragrant gooseberry and lime bouquet. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, slightly acidic and mouthwatering. The flavor profile is a tasty gooseberry with notes of grapefruit and hints of tangerine, minerality, green pepper and touch of lime. The finish is dry and refreshing. This Sauvignon Blanc is very food friendly and would pair well with grilled swordfish with a lemon butter drizzle. Enjoy - Ken
Winemaker Notes: Weighty, but lithe and balanced with a lot in reserve, this has a piercing minerality that leads the way for floral, powdered ginger, lemon verbena, slated butter and thyme notes. Very long and precise on the finish, this beautiful wine transcends the 2012 vintage.
