Wine Review: If you like your Petite Sirah to be a fruit bomb, look no further. We found an ideal fit for you. This slightly opaque and dark purple colored wine opens with a fragrant boysenberry bouquet with a hint of smoky oak. On the palate, this wine is full bodied, balanced, and as noted…fruit forward. The flavor profile is a vey juicy boysenberry and black raspberry blend with hints of black pepper and black currant. The finish is dry and its tingly tannins are nicely prolonged. The panel felt this wine would be a perfect wine to drink with a sausage and peppers sandwich by the campfire on a cool summer night. Enjoy - KWGTP
Winemaker Notes: This wine is dense and opulent with a fascinating display of rich, syrupy blackberry, huckleberry, and wildberry, delivered with smooth texture, firm, rip tannins, and a wonderful focus that keeps repeating the big fruit flavors.
