Wine Review: This Pinot Noir from California is light to medium ruby in color and presents with strawberry candy and fennel seed aromas with notes of other dried herbs. On the palate, the wine is fruit-forward and has a dominant Bing cherry flavor profile with hints of red raspberry and red currant. Juicy, mineral-driven acidity, medium oak treatment and gentle tannins provide balance and structure and develop into a warm finish of moderate length. Serve this very good value Pinot with baked sockeye salmon topped with ginger sauce and chili paste. - Jeoff
Winemaker Notes: A darker, more sumptuous take on Pinot Noir, this wine retains its careful complexity while dripping with richness. It opens with black cherry, pomegranate and vanilla aromas. It has a velvety entry featuring flavors of black cherry, plum and a hint of oak. It culminates with a smooth and lingering berry-laden finish.
