Wine Review: This translucent and medium yellow colored Chardonnay from Knights Bridge opens with a very fragrant tropical bouquet featuring mango and pineapple. I also detected hints of pear and apricot. On the palate, this wine is full bodied with mild acidity. The mouthfeel is round and nicely balanced. The flavor profile is a blend of banana and chalky minerality with notes of Golden delicious apple, vanilla, and oak. I also detected some hints of butterscotch, ginger, and grilled pineapple in the aftertaste. The finish is dry, and its flavors are nicely extended. This Chard would pair well with a chicken alfredo dish. Enjoy - Ken

Winemaker Notes: The distinctive terroirs bring together aromas of white Mirabelle plum, honey and citrus enveloped in a creamy texture that reminds one of creme patisserie layered puff pastry.
