Wine Review: This light-yellow colored Chardonnay opens with a poached pear and oak bouquet with hints of pineapple, vanilla and a touch of lemon. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, nicely balanced, elegant and refined. The flavor profile is an oak influenced almond and green apple blend with notes of white pepper, minerality and truffle. I also detected hints of oolong tea as well. The finish is dry and graceful. This Chard would pair well with pan-seared bay scallops with browned butter. Enjoy - Ken
