Wine Review: This bright straw-colored Sauvignon Blanc from Knights Bridge is very good. It opens with a fragrant honeydew melon and pineapple bouquet with a hint of lime. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, nicely balanced between its acidity and fruit. The flavor profile is a gentle tart grapefruit with notes of minerality and quince. I also detected hints of lime and a touch of peach pit. The finish is dry and it slowly fades away. This Sauvignon Blanc is very food friendly and paired quite nicely with shrimp scampi. Enjoy - Ken
Winemaker Notes: This Sauvignon Blanc jumps out of the glass—pineapple, passion fruit, grapefruit and lychee are all very prominent on the nose. The palate offers more lush fruit and bright acidity with notes of creamy lemon tart, guava and apricot with a fresh, clean finish. It's perfect as an aperitif or pair with lighter fare such as seafood, creamy cheeses or entree salads. Enjoy now through 2021.
