Wine Review: This deep ruby colored Cabernet Sauvignon opens with a black currant and black raspberry bouquet with hints of toasted oak and eucalyptus. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied with medium plus acidity. The mouthfeel is smooth, gentle, and very nicely balanced. The flavor profile is an oak, and graphite influenced mulberry with notes of blackberry. We also detected hints of black tea and chocolate in the mix. The finish is dry, and its grippy, dusty tannins stick around for a very long time. The Tasting Panel would decant this Cab and then pair it with Stuart's steak treats. Enjoy – KWGTP
Winemaker Notes: Our 2018 vintage draws complexity from a range of clones, soil types and exposures. Layered aromas feature blueberry and red raspberry with hints of fresh sage and lavender. The palate reveals generous mulberry fruit that integrates with notes of Sumatran coffee and cacao powder. Enjoy now through 2038. Enjoy alongside hearty meat dishes like grilled steak with porcini mushrooms, beef tenderloin with garlic brown butter, or mushroom raviolis.
