Wine Review: This light yellow colored Sauvignon Blanc is very nice. It opens with a mild lemon-lime bouquet with a hint of grapefruit and wet stone. On the palate, this wine is medium to full bodied, well balanced, elegant and round. The flavor profile is a chalky mineral infused light lime and green melon blend with a delicate hint of grapefruit towards the end. The finish is dry and although is flavors are mild, they do linger for quite some time. This Sauvignon Blanc is very tasty and food friendly. I would pair it with grilled rainbow trout. Enjoy - Ken
Winemaker Notes: This is our most refined Sauvignon Blanc to date. On the nose, aromas of white peach, honeysuckle, white blossoms, river stone, and baking pie crust abound and fill the senses. These notes carry over to the palate accompanied by sweet pastry butter, citrus, and hints of minerals. This wine has a polished, full entry, with a silky, crisp, clean finish. Pair with oysters, raw or Rockefeller.
