Wine Review: This dark red blend from Knights Bridge opens with a fragrant black cherry, cedar, and blueberry bouquet. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, balanced and savory. The flavor profile is a flinty mineral influenced red plum and boysenberry blend with notes of black cherry and red licorice. I also detected hints of tea and gentle oak in the background. The finish is dry and its flavors and minerality and mild tannins linger for a little while. This red blend would pair well with a grilled flat iron steak with an Asian marinade. Enjoy - Ken
Winemaker Notes: The KB Estate blend is an alluring mix of wild black and red fruit aromas surrounded by warm cinnamon and clove. The sweet floral and savory herbal notes are reminiscent of walking through a forest in springtime. It is the perfect wine for those in search of a deep, satisfying red that still has lots of personality. The soft tannins make this wine approachable now and the perfect match with bold foods.
