Wine Review: This pale coral colored wine from King Family opens with an inviting watermelon and strawberry with hints of banana. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied with integrated medium plus acidity. The mouthfeel is balanced, round, and fresh. The flavor profile is a light red cherry and watermelon blend with notes of stone dust. I also detected some hints of kiwi and faint strawberry in the mix. The finish is dry and refreshing. This rosé would pair well with steamed mussels. Enjoy - Ken
Winemaker Notes: Aged in 400-liter acacia barrels for 10 months, this dry rosé is made from 90% Petit Verdot and 10% Merlot. Strawberry, spice, and subtle savory aromas lead to a lively and bright finish. This medium-bodied rosé is perfect for an afternoon on the farm, or to start (and finish) an evening at home!
