Wine Review: This inky purple colored Petit Verdot opens with a very inviting violet and blueberry bouquet with hints of new leather, black cherry compote, and dark chocolate. On the palate, this wine is full bodied with medium plus acidity. The mouthfeel is nicely balanced, very smooth and seamless. The flavor profile is a delicious blueberry and black plum blend with notes of cedar and mochaccino. We also detected hints of crushed stone, herbs de Provence, and ripe black cherry in the aftertaste. The finish is dry and graceful. Its flavors, acidity, and faint managed tannins drift away nicely. We would enjoy this Petit Verdot on its own by the fireplace on a cold winter's night. With food, we would pair it with a filet mignon or with a blue cheeseburger. Enjoy – Ken & Mark

Winemaker Notes: A complex balance of fruit, earth, and spice. On the nose, dark notes of tar, licorice, and blueberry are accented with aromas of mushroom, leather, and eucalyptus. The palate continues this theme along with integrated flavors of oak, cedar, and spice. This wine will only improve.
