Wine Review: This pale white gold colored Sparkling Wine from King Family in Virginia displays opens with tons of random small streaming bubbles. It opens with a mild bread dough and light lemon curd bouquet with hints of Asian pear, orange zest, and bee's wax. On the palate, this wine is light bodied with integrated medium plus acidity. The mouthfeel is balanced, round, delicate, and fresh with pleasant light froth. The flavor profile is light lemon verbena and white tea, saline blend with notes of chalky minerality and green apple. We also detected hints of macadamia nuts, Bosc pear, and ginger. The finish is dry, and its flavors and acidity are nicely extended.
