Wine Review: This white gold colored Sauvignon Blanc from New Zealand opens with a fragrant pick grapefruit bouquet with hints of mango and lime zest. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied with zesty plus acidity. The mouthfeel is brisk, bright, and a little over the top! The flavor profile is a tart yellow grapefruit and stone fruit blend with notes of grass and stony minerality. I also detected some hints of lime zest in the aftertaste. I would pair this Sauvignon Blanc with an asparagus risotto. Enjoy - Ken

Winemaker Notes: Very pale yellow. Classic Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc aromas of lifted citrus, tropical fruit, and crushed herbs. A fresh, juicy wine with vibrant acidity and plenty of weight and length on the palate. Ripe, tropical fruit flavor with passion fruit, melon, and grapefruit. Pairs brilliantly with fresh oysters, asparagus, lobster, or summer salads.
