Wine Review: This almost clear colored Sauvignon Blanc from Kim Crawford opens with a very fragrant ripe pink grapefruit bouquet with a hint of mango. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, zesty and mouthwatering. The flavor profile is a ripe grapefruit with notes of lime and saline. The finish is dry and its flavors are nicely prolonged. This Sauvignon Blanc would be best served slightly chilled poolside or at the beach. Cheers – Ken
Winemaker Notes: Very pale yellow. Displays classic Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc aromas of lifted citrus, tropical fruit, and crushed herbs. This is a fresh, juicy wine with vibrant acidity and plenty of weight and length on the palate. Ripe, tropical fruit flavor with passion fruit, melon, and grapefruit. Pairs brilliantly with fresh oysters, asparagus, lobster, or summer salads.
