Wine Review: This very dark opaque purple colored Shiraz from down under opens with a very attractive boysenberry bouquet with a hint of blueberry. On the palate, this wine is full bodied, very nicely balanced, and smooth. The flavor profile is a juicy black raspberry with notes of boysenberry and a dash of black pepper. The finish is dry and its mild tannins linger for a little while. This very tasty Shiraz is a pleasure to drink and it would pair very nicely with a messy rack of barbecue ribs. Enjoy – Ken
Winemaker Notes: Crimson in colour. Ripe, bold and lifted Shiraz flavours predominate the nose, rich plum fruits and mocha supported by the French and American oak. This wine was made to showcase the unique flavours of Shiraz, the palate tends to be fruit driven but balanced and lengthened by the older oak flavours. A sweet mid palate, soft tannins and warmth of character have created a wine with both power and finesse.
