Wine Review: This white gold colored Riesling from the Clare Valley is a classic Aussie dry style. It opens with a lime zest, flint and mild tangerine like bouquet. On the palate, this wine is light bodied, acidic, zesty and mouthwatering. The flavor profile is a mineral infused mild tart grapefruit with notes of tangerine and hint of lime. The finish is pretty dry and its fresh acidity and flavors linger nicely. This Riesling will pair nicely with oysters or sushi. Enjoy - Ken
Winemaker Notes: Appearance: Pale straw with youthful green tints and brilliant clarity. Nose: Full blown aromas of limes and citrus flood the nose Palate: A crisp, lively palate; the mouthfilling flavours of fresh lime juice, lemon curd and natural racy acidity are perfectly balanced to a hint of retained natural grape sugar Cellaring: Potential of at least 12 - 15 years Pair with grilled Whiting and chunky chips or delicately spiced Thai food. Calamari and freshly shucked oysters.
