Wine Review: This very dark ruby red colored Pinot was very well received by the group of tasters that were covering this wine. Given its price tag, everyone thought it was a terrific value. It opens with a mild old oak and black cherry bouquet. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, balanced, and easy to drink. The flavor profile is a mild raspberry with a hint of spice. The finish is dry and its tingly mild tannins linger for a little while. Pair this Very Good value priced Pinot with grilled barbecue chicken. Enjoy - Ken
Winemaker Notes: Fresh fruit aromas of cherries and red currants followed by subtle aromas of nutmeg and forest floor; excellent acid balance with smooth and supple tannins. This refreshing, fruity Pinot Noir is wonderfully versatile on the table and can be served with a wide range of foods, including pork, chicken, lamb, and salmon.
