Wine Review: This dark straw colored Chardonnay from the Russian River opens with a mild butter and oak blend with a hint of pear in the background. On the palate, this wine is medium to full bodied, balanced and smooth. The flavor profile is an oak influenced apple and pear blend. I also detected hints pineapple and lemon. The finish is dry and its flavors sail along nicely for quite some time. This tasty Chard would pair nicely with chicken cordon bleu. Enjoy – Ken

Winemaker Notes: Fruit flavors of lime and Fuji apple join together with notes of vanilla, tropical fruit and allspice. The mouthfeel exhibits a rich creamy sur lie character from barrel age complemented by a wonderful minerality on the finish. Serve slightly chilled with chicken with Dijon mustard sauce or grilled salmon with avocado salad.
