Wine Review: This is an easy drinking and enjoyable Pinot Noir from the Russian River Valley. It is a dark garnet color and its bouquet is earthy plum, forest floor and strawberry with hints of vanilla and herbs. It is light bodied, with mild tannins and tart acidity. The flavor profile is cherry, earthy raspberry, black pepper and vanilla oak. The red fruit finish lasts quite a while. Glazed ham would go nicely with this Pinot. - Mark
Winemaker Notes: Fruit aromas of blackcurrant and raspberry join with fragrant notes of nutmeg, thyme and lavender; big and luscious mouthfeel with rich tannins lead to a lasting finish. This refreshing, fruity Pinot Noir is wonderfully versatile on the table and can be served with a wide range of foods, including pork, chicken, lamb and wild salmon.
