Wine Review: This very dark purple colored Cab opens with a mild blueberry bouquet with a hint of black pepper. On the palate, this wine is a medium bodied, balanced, and soft. The flavor profile is a mild black cherry with notes of red raspberry and a dash of black pepper. The finish is dry and its building mild tannins show up quickly and then fade. The panel felt this wine would be perfect with a gourmet Angus burger with Swiss and sautéed mushrooms. Enjoy - KWGTP
Winemaker Notes: "Well-defined currants, blackberry, blueberry and cassis make for abundant fruit on the attack. Sturdy, complex tannins balance the acidity throughout. Notes of smoke, mocha, cedar and lots of rich oak round off the long, earthy, heady finish." Randy Ullom, Winemaster
