Wine Review: This opaque and very dark purple colored Syrah from Kendall Jackson opens with a mild blueberry and chocolate bouquet. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, balanced and easy to drink. The flavor profile is a mild plum and black raspberry blend with notes of integrated minerality, oak and a hint of olive. The finish is dry and its flavors and mild tannins fade away nicely. I would pair this nice everyday Syrah with a juicy bacon, sauteed mushroom and cheese burger. Enjoy - Ken
