Wine Review: This light straw colored Sauvignon Blanc from Kendal Jackson opens with a fragrant pear, green melon and tangerine like bouquet with a hint of wet stone. On the palate, this wine is light bodied and has a nice round mouthfeel. It is also pleasantly acidic, a tad sweet and juicy. The flavor profile is a mild ripe grapefruit with a sprinkle of sugar on top. I also detected notes of pear and tangerine and a hint of lime. The finish is semi-dry and refreshing. This Sauvignon Blanc is a very nice summer sipper. I would pair it swordfish kabobs. Enjoy - Ken

Winemaker Notes: Luscious honeysuckle, ripe pear and fresh lemongrass intertwine in this medium-bodied Sauvignon Blanc. Hints of fresh tropical grapefruit complement the subtle mineral quality while added layers of fig and honeysuckle round out this crisp, aromatic wine.
