Wine Review: This almost clear colored Sauvignon Blanc from Kendall Jackson was well received by the tasting panel. It opens with a fragrant and attractive pineapple, pear and melon bouquet. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, slightly acidic and round. The flavor profile is a mild tart yellow grapefruit with notes of lime, tangerine and some light minerality. The finish is dry, refreshing and lingers for a while.. The panel suggested pairing this nice Sauvignon Blanc with fried clams, fried calamari or spring rolls. Enjoy - KWGTP
Winemaker Notes: This Grand Reserve offering is cold fermented, enhancing the natural, distinctive Sauvignon Blanc characteristics. The result is an expressive, crisp wine with notes of gooseberry, fig, grapefruit and starfruit. The nose welcomes you with a kiss of key lime and a wisp of juniper.
